Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Houston seeks a courteous Bellperson/Guest Services driver responsible for driving guests between the airport and hotel, greeting guests, and handling luggage while delivering items to rooms and assisting the front desk with calls and inquiries.

The role requires flexibility due to 24/7 hotel operations, a valid CDL with passenger endorsement, and a current DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with passenger endorsement.
• DOT medical card current.
• PT and FT positions available.
• Professional, positive attitude when communicating with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of hotel and the city.
• Ability to understand and obey traffic rules and driving regulations.
• Ability to operate a computer, printer, copier, and telephone.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Drive guests between airport and hotel and local area; obey traffic rules.
• Open and close vehicle doors for guests.
• Check guest luggage for day and overnight visits.
• Assist guests with storing and retrieving luggage from vehicles.
• Transfer luggage using bell carts to/from rooms, vehicles, loading areas.
• Run hotel errands as instructed by management.
• Maintain lobby station and baggage room; keep areas neat and clean.
• Greet and welcome guests; provide local directions and recommendations.
• Answer PBX/guest calls and assist with front desk tasks.
• Restock front desk supplies and business center items.
• Inspect and clean hotel vehicles; pump gas and obtain oil changes.
• Complete vehicle mileage reports; report safety issues promptly.
• Comply with all company policies, safety and security procedures.
