Job summary

AEG Presents is seeking an Usher/Ticket Taker in Boston to provide excellent guest service at events. You will greet attendees, aid seating, scan tickets and guide guests to the proper areas while ensuring safety and a welcoming atmosphere.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, 0–1 years of experience, and strong communication skills. Availability includes evenings, weekends, and holidays; professional appearance is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or an equivalent credential.
• 0–1 years of related work experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional appearance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sound judgement and the ability to make quick decisions.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with seating and directions.
• Scan tickets and direct attendees to the correct areas.
• Check IDs and vaccination cards as required.
• Maintain a calm, professional demeanor while resolving issues.
• Communicate with staff, clients, guests and supervisors as needed.
• Report policy or conduct concerns to the supervisor or Event Manager.
