Job summary

Target is seeking a Service and Engagement Team Leader in Homewood, AL to lead Guest Advocates and Front of Store Attendants, delivering an exceptional guest experience and driving store priorities.

You will manage daily workloads, coach a motivated team, and collaborate with leadership to foster a guest-centric culture in a fast-paced retail environment. Training is provided, with variable shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Retail experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Effective communication skills.
• Capability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Lead a team of hourly team members, coaching and developing their skills.
• Review area metrics and take action to improve guest experience and store results.
• Plan daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and goals.
• Support Target Loyalty Programs and drive guest engagement and sales goals.
• Respond quickly to guest concerns and de-escalate issues to resolve them.
