Job summary

The ideal candidate has prior hotel front desk experience, ability to supervise a team, and proficiency with computer systems used at the front desk.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk experience.
• Experience overseeing/directing a team is a plus.
• Ability to operate a computer.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front desk operations during assigned shift.
• Ensure front desk staff is familiar with hotel products and services.
• Handle all guest issues courteously and efficiently to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
• Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes.
• Ensure policies for financial record keeping, money handling and licensing including timely reporting of financial information.
• Block VIPs/special request rooms in advance when applicable.
• Communicate with other departments to coordinate guest and room information.
• Report items in need of repair.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.
• Be positive and helpful in a fast-paced environment.
