B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor at Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport in Herndon, VA.

This role leads front desk staff to deliver outstanding guest service, drives revenue, and ensures efficient operations to maximize profitability. The ideal candidate has strong communication and leadership skills, with hospitality experience and the ability to train and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years prior guest service experience required preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Excellent verbal communication skills needed.
• Attention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Accountable for guest satisfaction by ensuring service standards are met and guests' needs and concerns are responded to in a timely manner with a focus on service recovery when applicable.
• Financial Results and Cost Control: Responsible for management of expenses to maximize hotel profitability and for effective labor management through proper scheduling and monitoring.
• People Management and Training: Responsible for evaluating staff performance, hiring, coaching, development and ensuring training records are maintained.
• Self/Workload Management: Attend all department and hotel meetings; manage front desk initiatives with attention to detail and organization.
• Safety/Risk Management: Conduct routine inspections of front desk operations to maintain standards and safety.
