Job summary

Global Partners LP in New Canaan, CT is seeking a Guest Service Supervisor to lead store staff and ensure smooth guest service operations. You will supervise employees, provide coaching, greet guests, manage POS cash handling, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards to deliver a welcoming shopping experience.

The role requires flexibility for day/evening shifts, and offers competitive hourly pay range of $17.85–$20.85, with benefits including health/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) match,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to freely access all store areas including selling floor, stock, and register.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees to ensure proper execution of management directives.
• Coach employees by giving constructive feedback to improve performance.
• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Operate the point of sale and maintain proper cash levels, including deposits, lottery, gift cards and checks where applicable.
• Maintain store housekeeping, safety, security, quality, and standard operating procedures.
