Job summary

Global Partners LP in New Canaan, CT is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver a top-notch guest experience while completing store tasks. The role emphasizes welcoming guests, following safety and store policies, and operating the POS with accurate cash handling.

You will restock shelves, assist vendors, perform housekeeping, and support onboarding for new hires. This position requires flexible hours, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service or retail preferred.
• Ability to count, read and write accurately for paperwork.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale and maintain accurate cash/lottery/tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies to keep in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors as per guidelines.
• Assist with gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Support onboarding and training for new hires.
