Job summary

Drury Inn & Suites in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Front Desk/Guest Service supervisor to support the management team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Under general supervision, you will assist with supervising front desk positions, ensuring policy adherence, integrity and high service standards.

You will train staff, provide courteous, efficient service, respond to inquiries and complaints, and maintain a positive work environment for a diverse team and guests.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and oral directions.
• Excellent English communication with guests and team members.
• Strong knowledge of hotel policies and procedures.
• Ability to train, motivate and inspire staff to exceed expectations.
• Understand marketing and sales programs.
• Duties may include guest service agent or night audit as needed.
• Ability to handle money, make change, and operate office equipment.
• Monitor facilities and staff for safety.
• May require some travel.
