Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Denver is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to deliver attentive, courteous service during check-in, stay and checkout while maximizing room revenue.

This role requires strong communication, cash handling, and knowledge of rates, packages and promotions. Previous hotel experience and a high school diploma are preferred; computer skills are required, and a friendly, multitasking team player will thrive in our dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
• Be familiar with all rates, packages and promotions as listed in the Red Book.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
• Fully comprehend and operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system.
• Balance and prepare individual paperwork for closing of shift according to hotel standards.
• Maintain promotions and guest programs and a clean work area.
