Job summary

Raines Co. in South Carolina is seeking a Guest Services Associate to deliver exceptional customer service to guests, assist with inquiries, reservations, and check-ins, and ensure a welcoming experience.

You will handle phone and in-person requests, coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance, prepare breakfast per brand standards, and support other departments during busy periods. The role emphasizes strong communication and multitasking in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, front-facing, or guest-related roles.
• Hospitality industry experience preferred (hotels/restaurants).
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar applications.
• Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding customer service to guests at all times.
• Maintains a friendly, professional, courteous demeanor.
• Answers inquiries and accepts hotel reservations.
• Resolves guest problems and complaints promptly and with urgency.
• Handles reservations inquiries by phone and in person.
• Coordinates with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
• Prepares breakfast per Brand/Hotel standards.
• Cleans common areas as assigned (sweeping, mopping, dusting).
• Reports technical issues to maintenance staff.
• Manages breakfast inventories and supplies requirements.
• Receives deliveries and verifies paperwork.
• Handles wake-up calls and guest communications promptly.
• Ensures accurate billing and proper payment handling.
• Assists departments during peak periods and events.
• Attends meetings as required.
