Job summary

Motel 6 Big Bear Lake is seeking a friendly Guest Service Representative to join our hotel team in Big Bear Lake, CA. You will manage reservations, check guests in and out, handle requests, and assist with events and inquiries to ensure a smooth stay for all guests.

The role requires strong customer service, reliable communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Evening/weekend availability and a background check may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest services or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems and reservation management software.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Background check after conditional offer may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage reservations and check guests in and out using a computerized system.
• Handle guest requests such as tours or restaurant reservations.
• Assist with check-in/check-out processes, including payments and issuing keys.
• Answer phone calls and respond to online inquiries promptly.
• Assist with organizing events and meetings.
• Address guest complaints with professionalism.
• Perform light cleaning and restocking as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
