Job summary

Sonesta Simply Suites Boston Burlington, MA is seeking a Part Time Guest Service Agent to handle front desk duties, guest interactions, and basic cashier tasks with a focus on Sonesta service standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, solid English communication, and experience in hospitality or retail. Eligible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays with potential for growth in guest services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of hotel or retail customer service preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• Basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances preferred.
• Experience with Opera systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
• Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
• May book guest reservations and manage changes; upsell rooms when appropriate.
• Support front desk operations and coordinate with shifts and management.
