Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Tallahassee I-10 E is seeking an energetic Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, check them in and out, and handle payments with accurate cash balancing. The role requires friendly problem-solving, coordinating with the restaurant for reservations, and maintaining the switchboard operations.

Candidates should be professional, adaptable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or suitable equivalent.
• 1+ years Front Desk Agent experience preferred.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with professional appearance.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and thanking guests sincerely and in a friendly manner.
• Checking guests in on arrival and out on departure.
• Posting charges to the appropriate guest accounts.
• Anticipating and addressing guests' needs, and resolving problems and complaints.
• Assisting guests with disabilities.
• Operating the switchboard and assisting with inquiries.
• Assisting the reservations manager with taking reservations.
• Collaborating and communicating with other internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Complying with company procedures and safety policies.
• Performing duties on a daily checklist.
