Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One year hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience handling cash and credit card procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and perform check-in/out procedures.
• Follow cash and credit card procedures per hotel and brand standards.
• Check house count to determine rooms available for the day.
• Review credit limit exception reports and obtain approvals if needed.
• Check expected departures and manage checkouts or extensions.
• Update housekeeping room status upon receipt from housekeeping.
• Balance departments from daily activity reports at end of shift.
• Explain hotel promotions to guests and provide materials on request.
• Mention hotel amenities to guests during conversations.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries or complaints and offer alternatives.
• Demonstrate hospitable service and guest-centric attitude.
• Document guest accidents using the accident report form.
• Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
