Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking an on-site Front Desk Associate to check guests into villas, review amenities, hours of operation, and local activities.

You will listen to guests, address questions and requests, and coordinate with other departments to resolve issues, while explaining room features and services.

This role may involve bellman duties and requires availability for weekends and holidays, with physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and weekend days.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Checks Owners/guests into villas for their stay, and reviews property amenities, services, hours of operations, and local areas of interest and activities.
• Actively listens and responds positively to guests' questions, concerns, and requests and contacts other departments to help resolve guest issues.
• Identifies and explains room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, ice and vending areas, etc.).
• Follows up with Owner/guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction.
• Answers telephone calls and routes calls to the proper department as applicable.
• May be asked to assist with bellman and runner duties depending on facility or location.
