Residence Inn Minneapolis Downtown at The Depot is seeking a front desk associate to deliver exceptional guest service, handle check-ins/outs, verify billing, and manage reservations. You will help guests with local information and hours of operation, while supporting a team focused on quality and efficiency.

The role emphasizes friendly communication, attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

1+ years of guest service experience, preferably in hospitality.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Maintains predictable and reliable attendance.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
Able to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, bending).

Responsibilities

Greet guests and assist with check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and process special requests.
Assist guests by knowing the hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services.
Work as part of a team to meet guest needs and support other departments as necessary.
Follow selling techniques to maximize room revenues and upsell rooms and amenities.
Handle cash and process financial transactions following company procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with regulations and company policies.
