Job summary

Columbia Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Agent in a fast-paced environment. You will efficiently handle guest check-in/check-out, establish room credits, and issue keys while resolving issues and handling special requests to ensure memorable stays.

Applicants should have hospitality or customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to stand for long periods; valid driver license is required.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver license.
• Previous experience in cash handling & computerized POS system preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Handle check-in and checkout processes efficiently following hotel procedures.
• Operate the property management system (PMS) and PBX/radio paging as required.
• Issue room keys, establish guest credits, and explain services.
• Resolve guest issues with discretion and good judgment; escalate when needed.
• Follow up with guests and team members to ensure satisfaction.
• Make restaurant, transportation, or activity reservations for guests.
