Job summary

Spark by Hilton Matteson is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to deliver a welcoming experience from arrival through departure. You will handle reservations, check-ins/outs, guest requests, payments and front-office tasks in line with Hilton brand standards.

Previous Hilton experience is preferred, but strong customer-service skills and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn will be considered. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; customer-service mindset.
• Strong written and spoken communication; ability to engage guests professionally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment with a positive attitude.
• Familiarity with front-desk operations, reservations and guest billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts efficiently and accurately.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, and cancellations as needed.
• Verify guest identity and payment information for accuracy.
• Process cash and card transactions with attention to detail.
• Answer phones and respond to guest questions promptly.
• Provide information about services, amenities and local area.
