Job summary

Highgate Hotels in El Paso is seeking a Guest Service Agent to deliver attentive and courteous service during check-in, stay, and checkout while maximizing occupancy and revenue. You will greet guests, answer inquiries, manage packages, and operate the Front Desk system with a focus on accuracy and hospitality.

The role requires flexibility with hours and basic computer skills, with opportunities to learn promotions and rates while maintaining Highgate standards of service.

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Services experience preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk per Highgate standards.
• Maintain PBX console operation and hotel standards.
• Answer guest inquiries about services, facilities and hours.
• Log and deliver packages, mail and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
• Balance and prepare front desk paperwork for shift closing.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Be familiar with rate quotes, promotions and in-house groups.
