This full-time role requires strong customer service, basic cash handling, and proficiency with property management systems. You will collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to resolve guest requests and ensure a smooth stay.

Qualifications

• Previous experience at a hotel front desk or guest service preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with property management systems and basic office software.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and basic bookkeeping.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to resolve guest issues.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.
• Verify guest credit and establish payment methods.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change.
• Balance cash accounts.
• Issue room keys and coordinate with bell attendants.
• Review accounts and charges during check-out.
• Post charges to ledgers manually or via computer systems.
• Transmit and receive guest messages by phone or switchboard.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance on guest issues.
• Make and confirm reservations.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services and local dining/entertainment.
