Job summary

Stonebridge Companies is seeking a Guest Service Agent in Broomfield, Colorado to serve as the primary contact for guests, manage check-in/check-out, and ensure smooth operations at the front desk.

You will handle reservations, maintain accurate cash drawers, answer calls, and coordinate with housekeeping to keep the lobby and front desk area orderly. Fluency in English and basic computer/POS skills are required.

Qualifications

• One year college or technical school certificate, or 3–6 month related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read simple instructions, write basic correspondence, speak fluent English, and perform basic computer and POS functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the front desk in accordance with standard operating procedures and deliver exceptional guest service.
• Accurately manage reservation, check‑in/out, and credit card systems following all safety and security procedures.
• Check registration (folio) cards for completeness, accuracy, and legibility.
• Maintain accurate cash sheet and balance cash drawer.
• Operate the switchboard, disperse calls, and take accurate guest messages, noting date and time.
• Respond to emergency procedures and handle guest complaints, creating incident reports when required.
• Answer all calls within three rings using the prescribed script.
• Prepare room status sheets for housekeeping and update on available rooms.
• Set wake‑up calls and confirm reservations, ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain lobby and office area cleanliness.
• Lock and secure the area when leaving the front desk.
• Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and compliance with work, break, and meal periods.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, following the dress code.
