Job summary

Ivy Hospitality seeks a Front Desk Agent responsible for greeting guests, checking in/out, and resolving inquiries with a friendly, efficient approach. This role includes promoting the loyalty program, handling payments, and coordinating with shuttle services to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A professional appearance is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of the hotel, its services, and surrounding area.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs on occasion.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and register them into the hotel system.
• Promote and enroll guests in the hotel loyalty program.
• Process payments during check-in/check-out and manage a house bank.
• Assist guests with service requests and key issuance.
• Respond to guest complaints and escalate when needed.
• Answer calls, handle reservations efficiently and accurately.
• Assist with shuttle or transportation services and luggage.
• Provide information about local area and hotel amenities.
• Manage guest requests for laundry, wake-up calls, and messages.
• Follow SOPs and maintain confidentiality of guest room numbers.
