Job summary

Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, check them in and out, and address inquiries with friendly efficiency. You’ll promote the loyalty program, handle payments, and support guests with requests and transactions to ensure a smooth stay.

The role requires a courteous demeanor, strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to stand for long periods. Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Basic computer skills needed.
• Knowledge of the hotel, its services and the surrounding area is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and register them in the system.
• Promote and enroll guests in the hotel's loyalty program.
• Process payments during check-in/check-out and manage receipts.
• Assist guests with service requests such as issuing keys and handling deposits.
• Respond to guest complaints and escalate when necessary.
• Answer phone calls and handle reservations accurately.
• Assist with shuttle or transportation services and luggage.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and adhere to procedures.
