Ivy Hospitality in West Chester, Ohio seeks a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, check them in/out, and address inquiries with efficiency. You will verify reservations, process payments, and promote the hotel’s loyalty program to enhance guest experiences.

This role requires strong communication, the ability to stand for long periods, and a neat appearance. You’ll handle calls, assist with transportation, and support guests with requests while upholding hotel procedures and safeguarding

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Knowledge of hotel services and local area is helpful.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival; register guests and verify reservations, addresses, and payment details.
• Promote and enroll guests in the hotel loyalty program.
• Process payments during check-in/check-out; manage a house bank and report daily receipts.
• Assist guests with service requests (keys, safes, charges) and escalate issues as needed.
• Respond to guest complaints with solutions and escalate when necessary.
• Answer phones and handle reservations with accuracy and courtesy.
• Assist with shuttle/transport services and guest luggage as required.
• Knowledgeable about local area and hotel amenities to advise guests.
