Job summary

Ivy Hospitality is hiring a Front Desk Agent for 2nd shift to warmly greet guests and ensure smooth check-ins/check-outs. You will manage reservations, assist with services, and provide area information to enhance guest experience.

The role requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to handle flexible hours including nights and weekends. Health benefits and a supportive team culture are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Knowledge of the hotel, its services, and the surrounding area is preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs on occasion.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, registering guests and verifying reservation details.
• Promote and enroll guests in the hotel’s loyalty program.
• Process payments during check-in/check-out and manage daily receipts.
• Assist guests with service requests such as keys, safekeeping, and charges.
• Respond to guest complaints and escalate when needed.
• Answer calls and manage reservations efficiently.
• Assist with shuttle/transportation services and luggage handling.
• Be knowledgeable about local area and hotel amenities.
• Follow SOPs and support team, maintaining confidentiality of guest information.
