Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate in Bridgeport, CT. You will greet guests, operate the POS, and assist with store tasks to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

The role supports safety procedures, inventory, and vendor coordination while maintaining friendly, efficient service. The position requires flexibility for day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Greeting guests and providing a pleasant shopping experience.
• Operate POS systems per corporate standards, manage cash, lottery, tobacco as applicable.
• Assist with store housekeeping and shelf replenishment to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns with management.
• Support onboarding and training for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Operate the POS and maintain cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete housekeeping duties (cleaning, dusting, etc.).
• Replenish products ensuring in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minor employees may use OSHA approved knives.
