Job summary

Global Partners LP in Southbury, CT is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top-notch guest experiences while supporting store tasks. You will greet guests, operate the POS, maintain cash control, and ensure a clean, stocked store.

The role requires flexibility for various shifts, including weekends and holidays, and reliable transportation. You will work to uphold safety, security, and quality standards, assist with vendor coordination, and help with inventory and merchandising projects

• Adhere to safety, security and store policies.
• Operate cash register and manage cash/lottery/tobacco levels.
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
