Job summary

Global Partners LP in Connecticut seeks a Guest Service Associate to deliver top-notch guest experiences and support daily store operations. You’ll greet customers, assist with purchases, and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.

This role requires flexibility, basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. You’ll work with management on guest requests, vendor check-ins, and routine housekeeping tasks to ensure in-stock conditions

Qualifications

• Available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures outdoors or in cooler areas.
• Able to climb ladders and stairs; lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Able to read and write to complete required paperwork.
• Support onboarding and training of new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies and practices.
• Operate the point of sale; manage cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Perform store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and maintain in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns with management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
