Job summary

Global Partners LP in Connecticut seeks a friendly Guest Service Associate to greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience while supporting store operations.

You will operate the POS, maintain cash and stock levels, and assist with housekeeping and vendor coordination. The role requires flexibility to work days/nights/weekends and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Training and onboarding are provided.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills and comfortable with simple software.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Follow safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Operate the POS and manage cash, lottery and tobacco levels.
• Perform store housekeeping tasks.
• Replenish products to maintain in‑stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may only use OSHA approved knives.
