Job summary

Global Partners LP in New Canaan, CT is seeking a Guest Service Associate to drive exceptional guest experiences while supporting store operations. You’ll greet guests, operate the POS, replenish stock, and assist with vendor and management communications to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

The role requires flexibility for day/evening/weekend shifts, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality, and store policies.
• Operate the POS and maintain cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Perform store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Communicate with management regarding guest requests and vendor concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
