Job summary

Global Partners LP in Danbury, CT is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top-notch guest experiences while supporting store-level operations. The role involves greeting guests, processing POS transactions, maintaining cleanliness, stocking products, and coordinating with vendors.

You must be flexible to work day, night, weekends, or holidays, and you should be able to perform basic computer tasks and lift up to 25 lbs. Onboarding support for new hires is included.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, i.e., outside, cooler, etc.
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Able to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Support GSA new hire employee onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies and practices.
• Operate the point of sale; maintain cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions.
• Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
