Job summary

Global Partners LP in Connecticut is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver a top-notch guest experience while handling store-level tasks. You will greet guests, operate the point of sale, and ensure clean and organized spaces.

This role requires flexibility for day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and basic computer skills. You will support vendors and help maintain in-stock conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoor, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all areas of the store (selling floor, stock, register).
• Able to count, read and write accurately for required paperwork.
• Support GSA onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies.
• Operate the POS and manage cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and maintain in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
