Job summary

Target is seeking a friendly Guest Advocate to enhance the guest experience in our store. You will greet guests, assist with questions, explain promotions, and help enroll them in loyalty programs while maintaining fast, accurate checkout operations.

Responsibilities include using handheld devices, guiding customers on the Target App, supporting Drive Up and Order Pickup, and keeping the area tidy and stocked. A positive attitude and team collaboration are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture prioritizing the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products and services to resolve issues and improve experience.
• Explain benefits and assist with Target Loyalty program sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Guide guests on Target App features including Wallet and Drive Up/Order Pickup.
• Assist with returns and follow store policies, escalating to leaders when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and stock supplies during open hours.
