Job summary

Global Partners LP in Massachusetts is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top-notch guest experiences and support store-level tasks. You will greet guests, operate the POS, maintain cash and inventory, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment.

This role requires flexible hours, basic computer use, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. You will collaborate with management, assist vendors, and help with onboarding new staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Greet customers and provide a welcoming shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Must be able to operate the POS and manage cash/lottery/tobacco levels.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
