Job summary

Global Partners LP in Massachusetts is seeking a Guest Service Associate to create a top-notch guest experience while supporting store tasks. You will greet guests, operate the POS, manage cash and transactions, and help keep the store clean and stocked.

The role requires flexibility for day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outside, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs; reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Support GSA new hire employee onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operation policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale; maintain cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
