Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top-tier guest experiences across our store. You will greet customers, manage point-of-sale duties, and ensure clean, well-stocked shelves while following safety and operating policies.

You’ll assist with vendors, inventory tasks, and various store projects, with flexibility for hours and environments. The role supports onboarding of new hires and contributes to a welcoming, efficient shopping atmosphere for customers and team

Qualifications

• Flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoors, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Able to count, read and write to complete paperwork.
• Support onboarding and training for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale with proper cash handling.
• Complete store housekeeping duties (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and ensure in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor-related concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
