Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver a top-notch guest experience while handling store-level tasks, greet guests, operate the point of sale, and maintain safety, quality, and appearance.

You will replenish stock, support onboarding, complete housekeeping, and assist management on vendor checks and merchandising projects. Flexibility to work varied shifts is required; prior retail experience helps. Competitive salary and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Availability to work flexible hours, including day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outside, cooler, etc.).
• Physical ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Freedom to access all areas of the store, including the selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Accurate counting, reading, and writing skills for required paperwork.
• Minors may only use OSHA-approved knives.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards and maintain proper cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions, including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
• Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas-tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Support new hire onboarding and training for Guest Service Associates.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
