Job summary

Hampton Inn in Panama City Beach seeks a Front Desk Supervisor to manage daily front office operations, act as Manager on Duty, respond to guest requests, and drive revenue through selling strategies.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and English proficiency, be comfortable using a property management system, and be able to work on-site, including weekends, in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in service, sales, telesales or guest relations preferred.
• Computer literate and able to operate the property management system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests, provide room assignments, maintain guest privacy, and accommodate special requests when possible.
• Promote and sell hotel services/amenities.
• Promote repeat business by encouraging future reservations and recommending alternate brand-type products.
• Identify potential sales leads through guest interactions and report to the appropriate person.
• Keep housekeeping and other departments informed of special requests and late check-outs.
• Learn and utilize the PMS and ensure all financial transactions balance at shift end.
