Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to drive a top-notch guest experience and support store operations. You will greet guests, operate the POS, maintain cash and inventory levels, and ensure a clean, safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, i.e., outside, cooler, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all store areas including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Perform duties in a timely manner.
• Ability to count, read and write accurately for required paperwork.
• Support GSA onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to the execution of safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale and maintain proper cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
