Job summary

Olympia Hospitality in Louisville, KY is seeking a friendly Guest Service Representative to greet guests, manage reservations, and support check-in and check-out with attentive service. You will answer inquiries by phone, email, or in person; process payments; coordinate with housekeeping; and resolve guest concerns promptly to ensure a superior experience.

Prior customer service is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is welcome.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and work at front desk.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in process.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
• Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately and efficiently.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
• Uphold company policies to ensure guest safety and security.
• Collaborate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for occupancy.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience.
