Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Guest Service Agent to greet, register and assist guests, manage check-ins/outs, and handle payments with courteous service. The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, safety, and smooth interactions with the PMS system during shifts that may include holidays and weekends.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience, with knowledge of PMS systems preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required.
• Knowledge of PMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately and assist with their needs.
• Register guests and assign rooms.
• Establish methods of payment and verify credit.
• Make and confirm reservations.
• Compute bills, collect payments and make change.
• Transmit and receive messages using the PMS system.
• Respond to guest requests promptly.
• Receive and resolve guest complaints, elevating to supervisor when needed.
• Secure guests' valuables in the hotel safe.
• Balance accounts and conduct audits.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and work to improve it.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist in breakfast area or with luggage during peak periods.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction and support management as needed.
