Job summary
Hilton Madison Monona Terrace is seeking a friendly Restaurant Server in Madison, WI. Full-Time and Part-Time schedules are available, with weekend availability required. Wage starts at $8.00 per hour plus tips, with opportunities to grow within Marcus Hotels & Resorts.
Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, serving beverages and meals, and maintaining a clean dining area. Training is provided, and benefits and discounts are offered across Marcus properties.
Qualifications
- Experience in a restaurant or customer service setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and friendly demeanor.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages according to Hilton and Marcus standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
- Maintain clean, organized tables and dining areas.
- Communicate with team members and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Resolve guest concerns when possible or elevate to supervisors as needed.
- Support restaurant cleanliness and assist with restocking as needed.
