Job summary

Pearl Hospitality is seeking a Pearl Restaurant Server to deliver an exceptional dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing guest needs promptly.

You will collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service while maintaining a clean dining area and adhering to health and safety standards. Strong customer service and basic math skills are essential for handling transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or food service preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests warmly and welcomingly.
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding menu items and preparation methods.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and ensure orders are correct and meet quality standards.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or special requests.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Handle guest payments and provide accurate change or process credit card transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
