Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality.
• Able to stand for 10 hours; able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic computer usage skills.
• Must possess valid food safety certification or any other required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Attendance as scheduled and compliance with policies.
• Punch in, sign in, and report to the General Manager/Department Manager.
• Perform dining room set-up, side work and closing duties.
• Sell to guests with product knowledge.
• Serve guests according to service standards.
• Participate in table and dining room cleanup.
• Compute guest checks and operate the POS; process payments.
• Report tips for each shift and maintain safety and sanitation.
