Job summary

Tin Lizzie Indianapolis One, LLC is seeking a restaurant server to ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will take orders, deliver them, and maintain high standards of customer service in the dining room.

You must meet minimum qualifications, including English proficiency, ability to stand for long periods, and carrying up to 50 pounds, with food safety certification if required. This role involves POS operations, teamwork, and adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality and service-minded attitude.
• Able to stand for 10 hours.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation; basic computer usage skills.
• Must possess valid food safety certification or any other food/alcohol certification if required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Attendance at scheduled shifts and compliance with policy and procedures.
• Punch in/out and report to manager on time in full uniform.
• Set up dining room, perform side work and closing duties.
• Sell to guests by communicating with product knowledge.
• Serve guests according to service standards.
• Participate in table and dining room cleanup.
• Compute guest checks and operate the POS; process payments.
• Maintain restaurant safety and sanitation.
• Attend employee meetings and share improvement ideas.
• Keep a clean and professional appearance at all times.
