Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Restaurant Server to provide an exceptional dining experience. You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure accuracy and presentation.

The role emphasizes friendly guest service, knowledge of the menu, and collaboration with kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations. Responsibilities include upselling, maintaining cleanliness, processing payments, and supporting special events.

Qualifications

• High school education or related experience.
• Alcohol awareness certification.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices.
• Ability to provide friendly guest service and follow proper ordering and food handling guidelines.
• Process guest checks and collect payments in compliance with cash handling and card transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, escort to tables, provide menus and accommodate requests.
• Take orders and input into the restaurant's system.
• Serve food and beverages, ensure correct presentation and accuracy.
• Develop menu knowledge and make recommendations to guests.
• Upsell appetizers, sides, desserts, and beverages to enhance dining experience.
• Maintain tables: clean, set and reset for new guests.
• Interact with guests to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Present bills and process payments accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and bussers for smooth service flow.
• Maintain sanitation and hygiene in dining area.
• Assist with special events, parties, and catering as needed.
