Job summary

Bigwhiskeys in United States (Missouri region) seeks a friendly server to deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will greet guests, explain specials, make recommendations, take orders, and ensure timely service with MICROS system accuracy.

Roles emphasize responsive, courteous service, upholding efficiency, and helping teammates. The position includes opportunities to upsell beverages and desserts while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of service experience.
• Ability to communicate in the predominant language of our guests.
• Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures.
• Ability to handle money and operate a MICROS system.
• Stand for long periods (up to 5 hours).
• Lift and maneuver trays weighing up to 20–25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests within 30 seconds and provide attentive service.
• Introduce yourself to guests.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
• Make recommendations you believe guests will enjoy.
• Answer questions about food, beverages and restaurant services.
• Take orders and enter into MICROS system; ensure accuracy.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests.
• Perform side work at shift start/end as directed.
• Anticipate guests' needs (napkins, refills, plates).
• Maintain clean service areas and pre-bus tables.
• Monitor guests' dining experience and respond to requests.
• Prepare final bill and process payments.
• Refrain from revenant travel after dropping the check; check back ASAP.
• Be ready to assist fellow staff as needed.
• Assist bus person/hostess with clearing/resetting tables.
• Invite guests to return.
• Be available to support restaurant operations as directed.
