Job summary

Big Whiskey's American Restaurant & Bar in Branson, MO is seeking a server to provide friendly, responsive service and create an exceptional dining experience for guests. You will welcome guests within 30 seconds, introduce yourself, inform guests of specials and menu changes, and make recommendations you genuinely believe they will enjoy.

Responsibilities include taking orders, relaying to kitchen, delivering meals promptly, upselling where appropriate, and supporting fellow staff to ensure

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of service experience.
• Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a Micros system.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests within 30 seconds and make them feel comfortable.
• Introduce yourself to guests.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
• Make recommendations you believe guests will enjoy.
• Take and relay food and beverage orders accurately using the Micros system.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform side work at shift start and end as assigned.
• Anticipate guests' needs and maintain clean service areas.
