Job summary

PENN Entertainment, Inc. in Toledo, OH is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented team member to join our food service operations. You will interact with guests, stock, and service an assigned area, ensuring timely, courteous care in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork with culinary and service staff, adherence to sanitation standards (ServSafe), safety policies, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Prior food service experience is preferred, and English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Six months' experience in food service preferred.
• Knowledgeable of food and alcoholic beverages.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills; fluent in English.
• Ability to respond calmly in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand and walk for the entire shift; lift up to 25 lbs.
• Maintain sanitation per ServSafe and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with guests and co-workers in a helpful, positive, upbeat, and professional manner.
• Set-up, stocking and service of assigned area; sets, cleans, and resets tables.
• Removing dirty dishes, glassware, flatware, and soiled linens; transport to dish area.
• Monitoring and replenishing stock in a neat, accurate, and timely fashion.
• Refilling water glasses, coffee cups, butter/condiments, bread, and carrying orders to tables.
• Making coffee or tea as needed.
• Ensuring assigned work area is neat, clean and sanitized throughout shift.
• Partnering with culinary team and server to ensure coordinated workflow.
• Maintaining equipment and service stations; adhere to sanitation standards.
• Comply with all regulatory, safety, and company policies.
