Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Toledo, OH seeks an experienced Cook/Banquet Cook to deliver fast, friendly service and prepare diverse menu items with precision. You will follow health and safety standards while maintaining clean stations and proper food handling.

The role requires at least 18 years old, a HS diploma or equivalent and 2 years’ restaurant experience. Training new staff and supporting busy event service are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent and two years experience in a full service restaurant preferred or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals; write routine reports; speak effectively to groups.

Responsibilities

• Provides fast, friendly, professional customer service to guests.
• Prepares food items per guest order including breakfast items, entrees and desserts.
• Produces sauces, soups and hot entrées per menu specifications.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of equipment and workspace.
• Assists in training new Banquet Cooks.
• Stand for full shifts and follow health and safety standards.
